Gears of War 2 - Update

It seems that Gears of War 2 is moving along nicely.  There are plans a lot of new graphical upgrades in the game to prevent a realistic environment for your war games.  There is also some general talk about improving the single player to make the game capable of standing on its own two legs.  There is a stronger campaign that is basically just an excuse to kill stuff, but that shouldn’t be a problem. The big talk so far is the multiplayer.  They...

E3 is getting ready to go full force next week.  This means will be seeing much more of some of the industry’s biggest launches.  The Brothers in Arms series is already showing off some more gameplay footage in released movies and new screenshots.  The graphics look spectacular.  The gameplay hasn’t been touched much, so one can expect the same tactical play familiar to the series.  The big addition will be environmental damage.  Sandbags...

Preview of James Bond: Quantum of Solace

There’s some new information being kicked around by the developers for this one.  A series of screenshots were just released to tease us for the future release of this companion to the Bond movie of the same name.  The graphics look pretty sharp but I’m worried about some descriptions. I feel a mix of hope and fear towards this new title.  The game has been picked up by developing powerhouse Treyarch and uses the same engine as Call of Duty 4. ...

1st Call of Duty 5 details released

The first details about Call of Duty 5 (or Call of Duty: World at War) are released. These details range from awesome, to a let down. Let’s go with the good news first though. Call of Duty 5 will host a number of new features. One of these new features is the ability to play through the campaign with co-op. Music to my ears! Multiplayer matches will also now have Vehicles. RE5 Countdown Ends, New Website Begins

The countdown for Resident Evil 5 has ended leaving a nifty new website in it’s wake. The Website features a new trailer, which shows off plenty interesting gameplay, and shows off the most concrete evidence that this game will expand off of the idea of the Las Plagas as opposed to the T-Virus. It also shows a new female protagonist (?). The site also features sections for a Gallery, Downloads, and About Us. The Trailer alone is worth the Checkout. Resident...

Prince of Persia Next Gen trailer

A trailer is up for the brand new Prince of Persia game. Though I’ve got one question after watching it: What happened to the cel-shading? If this cg scene is anything to go by, they’ve ditched the cel-shaded style for a more realistic approach. Of course, I could just be over looking it. The new Prince of Persia is rumored to be released for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. No official title has been announced. Anyway, check out the trailer below.  Read More →

Infinite Undiscovery Trailer

As of late I’ve grown more and more wary of Square-Enix and the games they put out. They always seem to be going for the quick buck with their ports and rehashes. I can’t say that I had high hopes for Infinite Undiscovery, but after watching this trailer I can gladly say that I wont be picking this up. All of the usual signs seem to be coming together for this one. Standard looking Japanese RPG plot? Check Uninspired character design? Check Bad...
