Robert Ludlum’s The Bourne Conspiracy Demo hits XBL

While I’m not the biggest Bourne fan in the world, I can respect what the movies had to offer. The action was pretty awesome, and it stapled Matt Damon as an official bad ass. So I’ve had my eye on The Bourne Conspiracy for some time now. The concept was interesting, and I loved the sense of style that the game had.

And today, just out of no where, I noticed that there was a Bourne Demo on the Xbox Live market place. Upon giving it a try, I was pretty impressed. The Demo allows you to play through 3 missions of the game. The first mission is a hand to hand combat mission, the second is more for shooting, and the third is a driving segment. The on foot stages were a lot of fun. Combat is fast and fluid, and Bourne even uses the environment to his advantage on the fly. It was pretty impressive. The driving mission is another story.. After playing GTA4, the driving in this felt like a joke. Not to mention the area you get to drive in is embarrassingly small.

All in all, I really liked most of what I played. It’s definitely worth keeping an eye on. Give it a download and try it out.
