Aliens: Colonial Marines Announced

Sega has announced Aliens: Colonial Marines, an FPS developed by Gearbox Software (Brothers in Arms, Counter-Strike) based on the hit horror movies. Aliens: Colonial Marines will be a Squad based shooter. The game will also include four player co-op, where each member takes on a different role in their squad. UK not getting Gran Turismo 5 untill 2009

Portal 2 Confirmed by Valve

Portal, the critically acclaimed and stand out game of Valve’s Orange Box has been confirmed for a sequel. Splinter Cell: DA

Today Ubisoft has confirmed that Double Agent will arrive on the PlayStation 3 in North America and Europe sometime in March of 2007. Double Agent, has already been released on the Xbox 360, PC, PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, and Wii. With the Japanese PS3 launch approaching many retailers have had to decide whether to have pre-orders, or sell their stock on a first come, first serve basis. Sony has announced prices for some of its’ upcoming accessories for the Sony Playstation 3. PS3 HDMI cable will retail for $49.99. Less expensive than some cables, but a lot more expensive than others. Any HDMI cable will work, so it’s really left up to the users to decide whether they need to pay $50 for a cable. Ebay pulls PS3 sale listings

Not long after the pre-orders for the Playstation 3 were “sold out”, you could find listings on Ebay for the next-gen console. With a few listings already having multiple bids ranging from $1200, all the way up to $2500. PS3 Pre-orders at GameStop

GameStop has announced it will start taking pre-orders for the Sony Playstation 3 today, Oct. 10th. These pre-orders, however, will be on a very limited basis.
