Interplay plans for Earthworm Jim, Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance Sequels (among others)

Interplay has announced that it plans to peruse  the develop sequels to some of it’s biggest franchises. The big names include: Earthworm Jim, Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance,  MDK, and the (reaaaally old) Descent. I find this to be great news, as I’d love to see a proper Earthworm Jim sequel. Perhaps a (good) 3d version of it. I wouldn’t mind another Baldur’s gate: Dark Alliance, as they were some of the best hack and slash rpgs...

New Ace Attorney Spin-off staring Miles Edgeworth

I’m speechless! My favorite Nintendo DS series just got a whole lot cooler. Capcom is releasing a spin-off to the Ace Attorney series, starring (my personal favorite prosecutor) Miles Edgeworth. The game is apparently titled “Turnabout Prosecutor” (or Perfect Prosecutor) and will, of course, be released for the Nintendo DS. Yes, I know. The name is quite cheesy, but it fits the whole Ace Attorney theme. From the looks of the screen shots,...

Phew, that title is a bit of a mouthful, eh? Well, being a fan of the original SOCOM games (1 and 2, at least) I’m quite pleased to find out that the latest SOCOM title will be released September 16th in both retail and digital form. That’s right.. Too lazy to head out to the store to get it? Download it from the PlayStation Network Store! I can’t wait to give the next gen (or rather.. current gen) incarnation of SOCOM a shot.  Read More →

Sonic Unleashed Footage

Holy Crap.. A Sonic game that looks– good? The End of the world will soon be upon us! Sega has released a trailer for their latest Sonic title, called “Sonic Unleashed” (come on, sega.. How about some originality?) It looks to me like they’ve finally learned their lesson. You can’t have a good 3D Sonic game. After Sonic Adventure, Sonic just kind of went down hill.. fast. He had a brief moment in the light with the release of...

Guitar Hero: On Tour Trailer

I have to admit.. I’ve grown to hate the Guitar Hero series. They seem to be going the “put out as much garbage as they possibly can in the shortest amount of time for a quick buck” route, which I hate. They’ve sold out. So it goes without saying that I’m more of a Rock Band type of guy. Anyway, they’ve just released a trailer for the new Nintendo DS Game. No, don’t fix your monitors.. you heard that right. Nintendo...
