The countdown for information and the unveiling of noob.com has finally come, and so has a bunch of new information on the newest iteration of the Mortal Kombat Series. Prepare to be surprised.

First off, it’s not Mortal Kombat 8. No, instead the game is called Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, as in DC Comics. Next, the game is to have litttle to no blood/gore, and fatalities will no longer be present. Now I don’t know about you, but i was looking forward to the next Mortal Kombat game. I want to be excited for this game, but I’m skeptical.

We were also given a trailer featuring Batman and Sub-Zero fighting, but were not sure if this is actual gameplay footage or not. If it is, i will say that character animations and models look… familiar. I’ll try to remain hopeful for this one, but we’ll see.
