It appears that the Fall update for 360 users will well for just about everyone. About 1% of 360 users that updated with this new Fall update have been left with a pretty paper weight. It’s rumored that these consoles that have failed when the new update has been applied were possibly modified.

Although this is just a rumor, it may be a message from Microsoft for users to quit messing with the hardware. Microsoft states that they are committed to fixing the problems, whether it’s repairing a console, or shipping a brand new one.
