One of the great things about video game consoles these days is that they are also doubling as a DVD drive and today, it was announced that there would be a relatively inexpensive HD DVD drive for the XBOX 360. Microsoft has previously kept quiet on the issue, and has still not yet announced a release date or price, but, gamers have been given a look at the drive and what it can do.

At the recent DVD Forum is Los Angeles, California, Microsoft senior program manager, Kevin Collins, demonstrated the HD DVD players and gave very little information on it. If any more information on the HD DVD player becomes available, we will let you know at Video Game News.
