Microsoft had recently announced that it would be releasing downloadable games for the XBOX 360 from the XBOX Live Marketplace in the XBOX Live Arcade Wednesday program. They announced the games that would be released for the first five weeks and have now announced on their website, xbox.com, that a Texas Hold’Em simulation videogame will be available for download from the marketplace on August 23rd.

There is no money involved, so the game is purely for recreational use and is one of the few free downloadable games available in the marketplace. Gamers will be able to play in a single player mode or in mock online tournaments.
