EA Announces Starting Lineup for the Nintendo Wii

Electronic Arts, one of the biggest gaming companies in the world, has just announced that it will release six games for the Nintendo Wii when it first launches. Among the games that will be released for the Wii are the Tiger Woods PGA Tour Series, Madden NFL Football 07, the SSX snowboarding series, Need for Speed Carbon, the latest Harry Potter video game, as well as The Godfather game.

Apart from the first six games that EA has officially announced for the Wii, many more games for Nintendo’s next generation console are in the works and will be released once the console launches sometime later this year. (We have received many mixed reports on the date when this console will launch)

“Once we started to experiment with Madden on Wii, there was an explosion of innovation. Everyone in the studio is energized by the creative opportunity afforded by both the hardware and controller,” said EA senior vice president John Schappert.
