The Need for Speed series has grown to become the most popular and successful car racing video game series in the world. It was officially announced today that a new installment of the game, Need For Speed Carbon is being developed and will be released later this year. There had been rumors about this game’s existence, but nothing had been officially said until today. This game is a newer street racing game where users can customize their rides with hundreds of accessories that add to the performance and visual appeal to their cars. Players will again have to outrun the cops and race to become the best of the streets with all new levels, races, cars and accessories, and storylines.

Need for Speed Carbon will be released this November on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, DS, Game Boy Advance, PSP, PC, and on certain cell phones.
