Senator Continues to Fight Against Sale of Violent Video Games to Minors

The state senator from Louisiana looks like she will do everything that is possible to keep violent and M rated games out of the hands of youngsters. Despite some opposition to the plan by those in the gaming industry, State Senator Mike Michot says that they will not stop until children are not able to purchase violent games to minors.

Now if this is overturned, I think you’ll see the legislature address it again in the next session,” Michot told the station, adding, “We can’t legislate morality, but certainly we can stop these games from being sold in Louisiana, getting into the hands of our children. It’s the least we could do.”

This has a major impact on the gaming industry and we will have to wait and see how this all plays out.
