Well we’ve finally got some leaked screen shots.

I’m loving the style the game is in. It’s graphically impressive, and very, very colorful. Honestly, it looks like it could be a lot of fun. I’m really looking forward to more on Banjo 3.

I would love to tell you how it is, but unfortuneately I’m still downloading it myself, and it is moving very slow (3+ hours for a 61.3MB download?), but I’ll give it out without my thoughts on it, I’m that nice. To me, the gameplay footage we are shown looks very similar to the original GoW. The original looks to be a little darker, and the animations such as the chainsaw deaths look better, but graphically, they look very similar.

Sheesh, when will we stop hearing about this game? Not for a while, I’m going to guess. First we learn that Grand Theft Auto IV is one of the best reviewed games of all time, and now we learn that it’s continuing to break records everywhere. That was to be expected, of course. I’m sure the boys at Rockstar are happy with the launch of their latest masterpiece. Grand Theft Auto has made over $500 Million in its first week of release. That puts it a whopping $200 million over last years juggernaut, Halo 3.

If that wasn’t enough, GTA4 has claimed the top spot on xbox live, triumphing over the long standing champions Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4. Will the trend continue? Of course. To date, Grand Theft Auto IV has sold over 6 million copies world wide. Not bad for just a week, is it? We here at VGN only expect those numbers to keep on growing.

Unfortuneatly I don’t have much in the way of details or anything like that other than the fact that it is in production.
